A little bit about myself...
I hold a B.S. in Wildlife Biology from WVU and a M.S. in Environmental Biology from UMN. I spent the first 25 or so years of my professional career working as a research biologist, ornithologist and most recently an ecologist documenting the distribution and abundance of ecologically significant plant and animal species, ecological communities, and natural features.
Changing careers from biologist to biology teacher occurred naturally to me since I've always loved sharing my knowledge with others. You can ask any member of my family - I don't go anywhere without pointing out a bird or a plant! And I'm fortunate that I have a husband and son who love our natural world and biology as much as me so they never seem to mind. |
